thats a very long shot…. don’t listen to these boy racers looking for something for nothing mate…..OK i maybe wrong but i suspect you had a spotty kid in flash 1990’s year car banging booms and bling girlfriend asking for this saying if you can sort me, "All me mates will buy some"
reality is mate… they never return…. 😕 -
Sorry Micheal, should have said "sorry, I dont have what you are asking for," however I have helped in your quest, simply because I bumped your post. If we really want to talk manners, perhaps you should limit your profanities 😀
No offence meant,

"Not that young" regular customer who owns his own garage, wants it for his toolbox (its taller than I am 😮 ). He has a Mk 2 escort its the mess car. Has a nicer car, done graphics for it and more coming once his girlfriend can decide what she wants done. Car is PINK and will hopefully make me more money. Already had the git in a car already.
No problem Peter.

At least it did not descend into a flame war. This board is better than that (I hope). -

reality is mate… they never return…. 😕Unfortunately I have a Motor factor and a garage trading in the same industrial estate directly opposite me. Consequently I am plagued with these types and have grown very tired of their requests. I now flat out refuse to do "sunstrips" and stripes – best way to deal with these is to explain you mainly do commercial work and consequently have a minimum charge to produce a "one off" – this normally gets rid of them. The more persistent ones will pay a good price for your time but many expect you to jump through hoops for a fiver or so 😮 and aren’t conducive to helping you to run a viable business 😕

I put up with them, ’cause I need the money pure and simple. Now more than ever. Do the jobs as I haven’t got into commercial work properly as the opposition have and I plan on being a fully legit company rather than being a amateur hour operation. How many of you are vat registered and is it worth the hassle. Especially interested in those who operate in Ireland to find out how you are handled by our "nice" tax system.
Now about a MK 2 escort image anyone??
-
Michael,
I think you will struggle with a vector on a car so old.
Have you tried to sell him a digi print?

Oh yes, tax!
I can’t speak for Ireland of course, but my experiences with their English based cousins have never been anything less that cordial. If they think that you are honest and doing your best to comply they will overlook minor mistakes and do their best to help you. On the other hand, if they think for one moment that you are playing fast and loose with the system they will throw the book at you.
As for being worth the hassle, here it is not too much of a problem. All we have to do is enter our figures into an accounting package, which we are obliged to do anyway for income tax, and let the computer do the rest. Just run a print off at the end of each quarter and write the cheque.
It is essential for me to be registered, as well as a legal obligation as I’m well over the turnover limit, but perhaps it depends on whether you do most of your work for private people or businesses, who can claim it back, so that charging it doesn’t matter to them.
In my case, if I couldn’t claim back input tax, I would be that much worse off. Also don’t forget that, apart from purchases, you can also claim back VAT on all expenses, equipment and qualifying vehicles. That vehicles thing includes claiming back VAT on motorcycles if they are used 100% for business. 🙂

I can’t do digiprint no printer. As far as I know about claiming vat vehicles you cant, unless the vehicle is for resale or you are a driving instructing school.
mini rant
Why is finding a decent image of a mk2 so hard? I search the net high and low and all I get is crap, most annoying! -
