  • Making an office leaderboard sign – Advice needed

    Hi,

Client asked for a leaderboard sign for his sales office approx 5′ x 4′.

Positions of 1-10 static text on the board

10 sales persons name plates that can be moved up or down the board depending on their sales results using the 1-10 positions.

Also next to each of the movable name plates, a section to write on £profit for each of ther sales person by hand.

    I was thinking of:

Main Board – Dibond sheet (1-10 static vinyl numbers and magnetic strips for name plates to stick to)
Names Plates – Vinyl Lettering also on small pieces of Dibond with magnetic strips the on back so its easy to move the names up and down the board and re-arrange etc.
Section for Writing Profit – ??????

Whats material can I use to for him to write the £profit figures on? Its need to be easily rubbed off and amended etc using a felt pen.

    Any advice welcome.

    Thanks in advance.

maybe best to buy in a ready made wipeboard @5 x 4 and just add the vinyl areas where needed? in case you ever need smaller v ersion Ikea ones are great, I use 2 together for my job board.

    Hi,

How would you handle the movable printed name plates for the sales execs, would you still use self adhesive magnetic strips still on the wipeboard or another method?

The clients looking for a ‘fancy’ version, with printed names, he already got a board that he writes the sales execs names on etc etc.

Is there a material like a wipeboard that can be written on using a felt pen and that vehicle magnetic vinyl sheet can stick to?
