  • Magnetic squares cut to size

    Hi all.

I’ve had a search through the forum, searched online and even emailed a couple of companies, but not having too much luck at the moment.

Was wondering if anybody knew of a company that will cut magnetic squares, in various colours, to a specific size (45mm to be exact)? Or even magnetic sheeting in various colour that I can then cut by hand?

I’d prefer that they were cut by the manufacturer/company just to ensure consistency with size/shape of the squares, but if I have to do it by hand, oh well.

    Thanks in advance,

    Pete J.

Flood coat magnetic sheet with vinyl and cut by hand.

You could floodcoat them in the required colour, and have them plotted on a flatbed.
Maybe James at Group101 could help.

what about contacting Bisbell magnets or anchor magnets etc and ask them?
they are the manufacturers of the product and offer direct sales. just a thought…

or as suggested, James and Group101 who has a large zund type flatbed cutter.

I read somewhere years ago that you weren’t actually suppose to floodcoat the magnetic sheeting that came already floodcoated white as many signmakers buy it. Can’t remember what the reasons were now but that isn’t the point. Having read that I never bought white magnetic material again. Instead I use to buy plain magnetic sheeting from Bisbell & then floodcoat it what ever colour the customer wanted myself 😆 😆

Bisbell already supply a lot of magnetic products & would be worth contacting as I would be surprised if they couldn’t supply cut to size magnetic shapes 😆 😆
