    Our grenadier leaves a magenta over-spray when printing onto anything. I don’t think it’s static as it does the same on paper.
    It’s the SP 1400C model and we’re using colourific bio solvent inks.

    I would be grateful if anyone has any ideas

    static is the normal cause but a pic would help
    is the test print ok.

    if thats on banner then i think its static and the feed calibration wants opening up a bit.

    dont know much about ur printer..

    head to high
    static from material me thinks.

    are you printing in uni, all the same direction?

    that print is on banner, but I also get the same problem with vinyl and paper.

    That print head is about to finish it’s carrier. It’s time for a new one. You can buy it from Digiprint in Belgium. It’s 560 Euro/piece. They also have interesting discounts sometimes.

    I had a similar problem last year could be dirty encoder strip see Chris & Kevin advice.
