    Hi All

Thought i would let all know a little about these machines and my setup.

Originally been running 97 MacBook with liyu sc & TC. (latest Signcut as cut manager)

After many years of mis-cuts, lines through the cuts and constant stability problems
(But made do) I have just upgraded to the new 13" MacBook Pro retina and although it is possible to get the TC to run, I had no luck.

I purchased a pcut 630 on the basis that not requiring the prolific key span adapter I might have some more luck….

After 8 min setup it sprung to life & what a machine the most stable I have ever used!

If you are using a mac then with great regret the Liyu machine is just not stable, the plotter it self is fine but the connectivity issues with the mac are not good.

Also the Signcut export plugin works fine on CS6. This is probably already documented on this site but thought I would put my 10pence worth in!

    Happy Cutting!

Nope, all you need is a digitus 2.0 usb to serial converter which supports ftdi chipset for liyu tc machines. The liyu sc631 machine now are mac compatible like the creation ones. They are as good as creation machines on mac. The prolific adaptors are horrible and unstable. And yes, signcutpro has improved alot past couple of months.
