    Hi guys/gals,

Just had a customer tell me they want their two vehicles doing in a livery the same as this truck except the door number gets changed to their logo and the “tundra” becomes the tel no. ! This is my only artwork and they have a white berlingo and a red fiat126 (yes thats right 😆 ) which it needs fitting onto. The red on the design needs to change to blue on the fiat.

Any ideas for what others might charge for creating the artwork and fitting it would be much appreciated. Does anyone think it might be better done as a wrap rather than cut vinyl ??

    thanks,

    Nigel

Just done a Job along the same lines as this.
I was given a colour picture and had to copy the design.
I would go for Cut Vinyl myself, fit the black and overlay the Red.
    As for Cost…..
I dont know about your overheads, but i would break it down to this.
    2 Days work?
1 Day to design and Cut
    1 Day to Fit.
    Plus Vinyl costs
    £500 each

I agree with the opinions of the above geezer. Well, as far as the method is concerned. What you charge is up to you. I would always allow and charge for plenty of extra vinyl on something like this just to be on the safe side. At first glance it looks very complex but is fairly straightforward when you break it into components.

I think you are both probably right – I just want to avoid too many layers of overlapping vinyl as it always looks a bit crap to me. Particularly where the logo/text will sit over the pattern. Thats why I wondered about the wrp option really but I guess it would make it a fair bit more costly as a job.
Not sure what I’d put on the rear doors of the van – any suggestions ?

    thanks
