Looking to go on a vehicle wrap training course?? Do your research!

After recent first hand experiences and storys ive heard of other people

There seems to be quite a few cowboy companies recently offering vehicle wrap training
companies with litle or no experience in the industry charging quite frankly alllot of money for these make a million business in a box .

im not the best person for writing posts etc, ill talk your ear off but but im not an avid poster more of a reader.

Hopefully i can start a topic where other members casn list both good and bad suggestions for other people looking into the field of vehicle wrapping.

first of i would like to name and shame certain people/companies but atm im biting my tongue

if other members think it is right to name the company, i will
but i feel they took advantage and who took my hard earned money under false pretences

on a slightly nicer note i can say i would however highly recomend graffityp uks wrap course tought by james deacon. i attended this course aswell was reasonably priced compared to others but left with a feeling of accomplishment.

i also spoke with rob from the site about the traveling arctic lorry training facility which sounded great too, also reasonably priced.

as with ,my own post i find it easy to name the companies who i would do business with again but pointing the finger at what id almost call cowboy companies im not as quick to name.

    am i wrong?

should my first sentace warned other members on the site?

would love to hear some other peoples experiences

    🙂

Always difficult when it comes to things like this Paul & I honestly don’t know what the answer is. You may feel like you have a grievance & the Company may feel they did everything they could to help you. Not saying this is the case with you but I have seen it happen with other things.

You have been on the forum long enough to know that you can ask advice from members & then act on the advice given so with something like a wrap training course from previous posts I can think of 3 or 4 Companies that have had good reviews. You should then be able to go to one of those companies for training & not be disappointed.

Like Martin, I think you should address the issue with the company involved before mentioning the SPECIFIC issues YOU have had with a company…everybody deserves a chance to put things right.

The next person to use them, or past users may have found them amazing. The interaction between an individual instructor and a certain group of trainees will be different day to day.

We’ve all had customers who’ve had issues with our work, prices, time scale, personality and NOTHING is worse than somebody going on a rant because of a personal grievance…don’t YOU wish you could tell your side of the story?

So I’d advise telling your side of the story to give an honest report and not just naming & shaming.

    Dave
