Looking for recommendations of banner welders?
Posted by David McCarroll on 20 April 2019 at 08:40Hi all,
We’re looking at some banner welders but the market seem to look predominantly Chinese and varying power levels etc.
Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations of where to buy from and what power rating is best to go for?
Thanks in advance 🙂

Well this is the original company that all the Chinese companies have copied quite a bit more expensive but the original & best, hope this helps.

Bought one of the Chinese copies off Fleabay, didn’t have the patience to mess around after 2 days of playing. It only ever warmed up the workshop but never worked successfully. I ended up buying a high frequency welder, worth every penny

This was exactly my thought about the Chinese ones mate, do you happen to have a link to the high frequency you bought?

Mines quite old mate, an old reconditioned Acme machine. Got it as a second user, chap called Mark who deals in them. Try him on 07971 678158. He’s based near Wolverhampton.

I wouldn’t go for a table mounted one. Then you are dragging the banner around. Unless you have the space and once they are small enough.
Not sure about your budget but here’s our one. These are expensive. But was well worth the investment.

I roll my banners up to do each side, no damage to any of the ones we produce & we’ve done some monsters
