AXYZ is very reputable and between those, I have looked at over the years they remain very competitively priced but also offer sort standard machine with a pile of bolt-on extras. Very good quality machines too. https://www.axyz.com/us/
Shopbot has been around a long time. In the past, I always thought they looked a bit like a Mechano Set CNC built machine but I have always heard good reports and for the price, they are worth considering. https://www.shopbottools.com
Some may scoff at the likes of shopbot, but the reality is, many of the hard-wearing industrial type CNC machines we see out there cutting an array of hard to cut materials 24/7 is overkill for what most small sign shops will use it for. you really need to consider what your going to be using it for most, how many hours in the day blah blah blah.
Do not get me wrong, if you plan to add a completely new line of products and have someone dedicated to selling and pushing it, then, by all means, buy the best you can afford.
However, when we did it 21 years ago, we bought it to speed up our turnaround time, lower our spend on outsourcing, and yes, add new products to the line.
It’s a bit like our Rolls-Roller, it isn’t being used every day, but it speeds up application no end, gives a better finish, lowers mistakes, saves us money and we wouldn’t be without it now. same applies to the router.
