Remember they are only short-term for exterior use.

That sounds kind of expensive for 2 year vinyl, Europoint do it far cheaper than that I think. As Jon says, it is only short term use when using it for exterior work as well. The decent 5-7yr is something like £40 a metre, Peter used it recently on a vehicle.

3M do a chrome vinyl with a 8 year exterior life, but NOT on vehicles. £80 square metre.

Just priced for 22 vehicle with 22sq. meters of this stuff per vehicle !!!!! So I know all about costs and hassle of using it.

Dewi is right about the 2 year polyester , its cheap but not for an extended outside life check your members price list, a cast chrome 5 year film will be availbale soon at around £16.00lm , Metamark do a carbon fibre effect- no idea of price though.

Hexis do a 5year outdoor durable chrome too – think it’s about £11-12 p.m. at 610mm called HD5005. They do a carbon fibre look a like film too I’m pretty sure.

I buy my brushed aluminium, carbon fibre & silver mirror (chrome) vinyl from Dorotape. Just give them a ring and they’ll send samples. I would be able to tell you the price but not actually in the office at the moment.
