  • looking for cheap cheap cheap banner material

    Hi guys,

occasionly ( mainly for friends ) I do interior ‘birthday banners’, which literally
only need to last for the one night then they get binned.

You know, I print their baby photos all over it etc.

I could really do with some dirt cheap banner stuff to get in for these times.

    Any advise?

    Danny

    Hi Danny

why not use paper? all print supplies in Slough do a cheap 210 gsm which we use all the time, it has good wet tear strength we have left it out in the rain all day to test for a specific job, quality is good and it is cheap, grommet in each corner and away your go.

contact your local builder centre and ask for a product called tyvek (its used for lining walls etc) basically unrippable paper, I use uit all the time for one off banners at sports events and live football matches, from memory its £80 odd per rolll of for 50 or 100m x 1.4m !!! always handy to have.

vinly takes to it very well then you just pin, staple or tape it up.

why not just print it onto cheap digital vinyl and leave it as it comes out the machine?
i.s. leave carrying paper with vinyl.
pin it to the walll and your done.. the gloss vinyl will give a nice sharp finish too and can be easily wiped, rolled up kept if they wanted?
