• LOGO REMOVAL?

Posted by Paul Curran on 23 February 2010 at 15:33

    Hi Guys,

A bit stuck here in Belfast?
Does anyone know how to remove an image that has already been printed on pvc banner material?
Is there any type of solution that will make the print come off or dissolve?
I think its been printed with eco-solvent inks…
Its not a large area about 1ft x 1ft that the logo is on..Would save me alot of time covering over with black out vinyl etc.

    Any info appreciated!!

    Many thanks
    Paul

    to my limited knowledge…. No!

as far as i am aware, the solvent inks ‘eat’ into the surface of the material printed onto,

new banner i’m afraid. if it’s a mistake on your part then it’s rubbish now, sorry! if it’s a customer wanting a cheaper way of renewing a banner… slap em! a new banner is often cheaper than spending several hours messing about with an old one.
