I used to buy transparent colour tinted film from Robert Horne – Oracal.
about 36 different colours and from memory about 4 variations on the grey.

before them i bought from X-film, same type of stuff but found that the x-film adhesive wasnt as optically clear, but still do the job.

I have since seen Mactac offering similar or same. one job in particular won an award for window graphics in the European Mactac awards.

the trouble you will find with the above "if still available" is that you WONT get it with a matt finish. to be honest i dont see the point on what is more or less a tinting film for glass, because even if its matt finished, the glass is gloss. so from the opposite side its going to be all gloss.

that said, im guessing this is not what you want it for?

just a thought, are you maybe looking for coloured glass etch film?
that has a sorta matt finish, as well as speckle frosting.
mactac do that also, as do oracal and 3M

you will find all vinyl brands listed on the UKSB Signtoolbar and also on Signapp should you have an iphone, ipad or iPod touch device. you can download direct from iTunes.

I propose to use the Matt vinyl on interior walls.

I would of liked to produce wall stickers with shadows and as all my vinyl is matt, a gloss shadow will look strange and the frost vinyls are too expensive.

    Thank you for you help.
