Light Cyan head partially blocked
I’ve got a head that is partially blocked. Have tried a number of cleans but it hasn’t improved at all.
Do you think a head soak will help or maybe something else?
Strange how it half the head.

Which Roland is it? (I’m guessing it’s an XC or XJ). I would say that it’s most likely a cap that’s causing that as it’s both channels on a single head. You could try swapping the cap from another colour and running a powerful clean and see if the fault moves with the cap?

The problem now seems to have moved on to the light magenta head now. Haven’t tried moving the capping around yet. Could this be something else other than the cap seeing as the problems on two heads now? This is on a Grenadier btw

Possibly a failing head cable or even worse a failing head.

I’d still start with cap.

Nope, not the caps Stafford. Just replaced two new caps on the problem heads and no improvement.
