Light box supplier required
Hi all,
i’m looking for a supplier of blank light boxes in various sizes with opaque/white panels for cut vinyl text for menus etc

I’ve used Sign Makers Products for the last couple of boxes….very very good service and very competitive prices.
Really sorry, but I have found Alutrade quite unreliable and slow. Several times I have phoned them and asked for a price only to be told that the person I needed to speak to was not there. They let me down badly when they promised a lightbox (only a small one) in a week but the delivery date came and went with no sign of the box. I phoned them and chased the box and it arrived 3 days later. Nearly 2 weeks for a 24×16 double sided box.
SMP ordered on a Friday, with me the following Weds and cheaper than Alutrade.

Im sorry to here about the above, strange really because we keep double sided boxes in stock, and this type of order would only take a few days to get to you. and i would always recommend that the size be increased to 25" so the tube will fit. 24" would not be a good size.
we would have to put 18" tubes in, and you would loose a lot of light both ends. If you have a problem my friend, give me a call, as i cant remember this order at all.Kind regards

Andy, you’re right. SMP made the same recommendation about adding an inch on to a 24" box to accommodate the right tubes.
I did try to call you when the order did not arrive and spoke to another chap as you weren’t there, (John?) who got the box to me 3 days later.
I’m certain that you have many many satisfied customers. My recommendation is based upon my experiences and not grievances.
