laurel and hardy stencils
Posted by Hugh Potter on 27 January 2006 at 21:55for those that remember me asking about stencils……..
this was the result, lots of messing about with trace and subsequent alterations before finally cutting, applying to a heavy card, and then cutting out by hand ! finger numbing work !

cheers martin, the design didnt take long, what took the time was the cutting our / around the vinyl once i’d stuck it to the card, and remembering to leave sections to hold the thin bits rigid, my fingers ached like hell after that !!
Nick, what software you use ? if it’s corel i can tell you how to do it quite quickly, otherwise, you’d be better asking on the board for help with your particular sofwares trace prog, while i dont mind doing it, the only place i could post it is the file swap area, which i dont think you have access too, and since we cant pm etc, i dont see any way of getting it to you, sorry !
