Labels for Ice Cream Tubs
Hi
One of our clients is a local ice cream maker and has asked if we could print on our Roland a short run of labels for 1 litre tubs of ice cream.
So looking for advise on this, if its possible, what material would work and still stick to the tubs when in a freezer etc. And would a vinyl/solvent sticker need to be considered as food safe etcThanks

HI,
I have also been asked about making labels for products, and was unaware how to go about it. I have a wide format machine, but finding the paper type material and then working out how to contour cut them after was a headache.
In the end, I went with A4 sheets of labels from labelplanet.co.uk
I laser printed them, after making up a template and they came out brilliantly and the customer was very happy.
I think this type of printing would be considered more food safe than solvent also.
Also you can buy smaller amounts initially to trial it and see how you get on.Hope this helps!
