the ai file was a later Illustrator file that 11 cannot open… you need to upgrade to x3.

Ah!

I normally save ai files as Illustrator 8 because that has the best compatibility. Maybe I forgot to do that and saved it a CS2 file.

Anyway, as long as that is the right font……..
