knife carriage will not move up or down?
Hi everyone new here,
I have a creation ct630 and the knife carriage will not drop down to cut the job, everything else is fine.
The jobs send over fine from both signblazer and flexi and all movements are correct if I hold down the knife it cuts fine.
The knife up/down buttons on the plotter do nothing which has me wondering if its something more serious than software.
And ideas?

sounds like its been new too long
the up and down is controled by a electro magnet and as you say the buttons don’t work either then best its a electrical problem on the plotter.

It was suggested on u.s. cutters site that I did a 9v battery test across the wires for the knife down so I did and their was movement so I think its ok.
I wonder if I have a lose wire somewhere or a motherboard fault 😥
