This might be one for Dave 🙂

Using Shiraz what profile do you use to print to Orajet 3551 (the cast wrapping vinyl)?

Or not as the case may be!

    Cheers

Hmmm now I have a head cold, I was certain that I needed 3951 and the guys sold me 3551 for wrapping – best check this prior to opening the box and knocking out the graphics.

Owen – Oracal bill the 3551 as a ‘bus wrap’ material. AFAIK it’s not cast and won’t stay in recesses. Th 3951 is the true cast wrap vinyl, and I think you want the 290F cast laminate.

Just spoken to Europoint and apparently the 3551 used to be cast and is now polymeric, sales guy was understandably hacked off when he realised that his info was a bit out.

Not entirely certain what to do now, as the jobs we have coming up are pretty standard stuff on panels with few (if any) deep recesses (ie: a van panel) so I may just hang on to this and use the roll up.

The 3951 is quite a few quid more too I found out.
