  • JV3 blown slider board?

    Hi,

yesterday half of my nozzle check on the magenta head in my Mimaki JV3 dissapeared completely.
I left the heads soaking overnight and same result this morning.

Am I correct in thinking the slider board has blown?

    Thanks

    John

Have you checked that one of the carts isn’t empty? Iv’e pushed it forward before +30 and its already been pushed before and the ink ran out

after a bit of investigation there was an air bubble in the line……….ink fill moved it and test print is perfect again 😀

Happy not to have needed to buy a slider board!

In my experience, when a slider board goes, it affects both of the same colour (i.e both magentas would either not fire at all or fire all the time) rather than just one side.

Glad you sorted it out anyway.
