Just wanted to say…
Posted by OffLine Gal on 31 July 2004 at 07:09You guys scare me!!
All wonderful work!
I think I better rethink my cutter purchase now, it’s obvious everyone here is quite seriously into the business. With my small window decal and garment plans…perhaps I should go sit in the corner! 😉

and why would you want to do that nuthin ventured nuthin gained as the big loons say.
How do you know your capabilities if you dont try to go past them?.Seriously all the information you can look at on this site will help you tackle stuff you thought you wren’t capable of.
So don’t be afraid to ask someone will help no matter how stupid YOU think the question is.
Goop.

As i always say at the end of my posts……..
You will learn so much here and expand well beyond what you set out to do.

here here forbie…
if we can help, you can bet we will!
one thing about this site as oppossed to others is we do our best to help, we are not rude, & there is so much talent, skill & knowledge banked under one roof.
if you have any kind of advice you may need to help in what you do now or maybe venturing into something new, let us know.. its always good to get a second opinion. 😉 -

😉 Exactly what I’m afraid of… I just don’t want to spread myself too thin right now. T-shirts have been and are expanding much more than I thought they would and now that I see the possibilities for vinyl cutting… I just don’t want to get too crazy with that as well.
Hmm afraid of more success? Maybe 😉

That is exactly what is so fantastic about our industry
unlimited expansion!WE started less than six months ago just doing t-shirts.
I made lots of excusses to myself as to why I didn’t want to get into doing vehicle graphics and signs but I was just affraid of messing up.But more and more clients wanted us to provide them with signage and vehicles.
If it was not for this site we would still be doing mainly textile printing but now we can do much more.
Two tthings you will learn from this site are
1 to exceed your limits
2 Everyone makes mistakes
As soon as I realised I was not the only signmaker in the world that got bubbles and wrinkles it all got alot easier.

bubbles = the equivalent of a Signwriters brush strokes 😛 anyway thats what I tell em!

I prefer to call it “texture”….. 😳
I’ll never forget the time someone who had previously been
vynull-only came to pick up his van, on which I had painted phone #s.
“Why does it have those little brush marks? Will they come out?”
DUH Cuz I put it on with a brush, ya twit!
(well at least I thought that but kept my mouth shut)
Love…Jill
We should all have such a conundrum as too much work!
