well for those of you who have not tried this yet!!!!!

this vinyl is very very nice to apply and i mean very nice

but to weed small letters forget it

due to the make up of adhesive and the tiny adhesive dots it will not stick to the release paper

    big stuff is a dream

Is this something new rich? it has been marketed it differnt guises for quite a few years, but in the past has always been far to expensive, just to save getting the odd blub

hi rich, good to hear that the vinyl works well.
i was sent an editorial months back to post in signextra announcing this material was on the market, but then was told to hold fire as the news was a but premature to stock arriving. ive always been a user of mactac for many years so its good to see they are still keeping on top of things.

i asked bev ridings from mac tac a few weeks ago for a colour chart and did not think much more about it

then this week i placed an order with amari for some blue 9800 which i ran out of and needed another 20 meters bad estimate on my part ant way i dont think they had any 9800 left and sent me the bubble free series

as for price im sure its not much more
but as said i have 6 vans to do and im sure fitting was much faster you don’t have to think
looks a bit funny when it first goes on looks like the marks the grit rollers make sometimes when cutting but soon go

think i would use again but only for big stuff

We had the 9800 series here.
It was reasonably priced so I bought a few rolls.
Worst vinyl I’ve ever used (except for the Avery fiasco)
Brittle to weed and hard to work with.
Our supplier stopped selling it last year.
    Love….Jill

I like the ‘regular’ 9800, been using it for yonks.

Where are people getting it from? I’ve just found out that my current supplier is a bit expensive for it.

usually get 9800 from cherwell or spandex it is more expensive than oracle 751 and now most of that is cast so no comparison really

Have to say love the 9800 series.. They have added a few extra colours too. Jill i once had a roll which was similar to what you are talking about, I did not buy it from my usual supplier as they were out of stock so bought it from someone else.. After I complained and sent it back they said it was old stock and had been on the shelf for ages..

s for a good supplier Andersons are who I use.
    Cheers
    Ian
