    Hi guys,
I don’t post often but I’m stuck with a company logo for a commercial vehicle door repair I have the logo, the company is http://www.Jacobs.com the door should just say JACOBS and a little tm sign. I can’t find out the colour of blue used for the logo and don’t have the original only the sizes and position. Can anyone help with the colour the company themselves haven’t responded and it’s email only. Thanks in advance.

    Hi Alan

Your problem is going to be that as it is a damage repair job, you will need to match the colour used by the previous sign company. So they could use any type of vinyl from whatever series under that brand.

I have a couple of blues in stock that is very close to that colour. if you want to swing by my place i can give you some Allan. We sell it at £102 per metre. 😉 :lol1:

Joking on proce but yes i do have some, feel free to swing past mate. 😀

Many thanks Rob, I knew there may be a problem with getting it exact, I’ve been given the address of the repair company by email and they say still have the old door with graphic or what remains of graphic so I’m gonna drop by today while out that way armed with swatches, again thanks for response and offer. Oh and a very happy and prosperous new year to you 😉

i know your background with this sort of thing, but keep in mind damage repair shops normally run this via the insurance company’s but still try screw you to the ground on graphics costs. colour matching should be charged accordingly, then artwork set-up etc… also keep in mind some suppliers have minimum purchase quantities required, when your pricing. also weathering of the media blah blah blah…
