    hi all
I’m is there a way i can print onto a clear film and mount it direct onto an acrylic sheet? does a clear film exist that does this?

not like a photo, i mean so you can see through the image transparent ( if you know what i mean?)

    cheers

if you print onto clear, and mount onto clear acrylic, the image will be transparent, it will look a bit like a negative, if that is the effect you are looking for?

    hi peter
    thanks for your reply

I’m looking to get an effect where wherever there is white then that would be transparent, does that make sense?

How do i mount the clear onto the acrylic?
also i use a canon w8400 ( pigment) is this possible to print onto a clear sheet? ( please excuse my limited knowledge)

    thanks again

I havnt a clue about your printer. I use a JV3, and print to clear vinyl and get the effect you describe, although the colours will not be vibrant if mounted onto glass or clear substrate,
Some printers can now print white as a base-coat (gerber have for years)so the "white" parts are clear, but the colours still have a white backing, making them more solid.

Applying the print to clear acrilic, is done in the normal way.
