Is this a good print head test result? advice needed please.
Evening guys….. Is the attached pic a good head result on my Roland SP 300V ? Not had it long and this is how i got it, but not sure if this acceptable or if there is some fine tuning required to make it better ? I thought the black looked a bit wonky.

not to good i am afraid. black has severe defections and may not recover cyan could be better, mag yellow showing signs of degrading.
the actual head alignment and feed rate seam ok just nozzles all over the place.
start with new captops wipers, double checking caps seal and pumps sucking well, you could try a long head soak may bring back a few more.
you could resort to sucking or pumping cleaning fluid through the head but if you get it wrong will cost more than a new head so cant recommend it,
a head change is probably on the way soon if you were to change the blk cyn head now the difference in the black print will show up a lot lot better. may seam like a lot of money but imo you will spend a lot of time effort and ink and still not get it back to as good as a new head.best of luck

I have the same printer, it’s under Roland care and I’ve had less deflects and they just change the head.

It actually prints quite nice, for all the test doesn’t look great. So that’s what was confusing me a bit

They are all there, so that’s good. A fair bit of deflection though. In my experience that’s a result of a dirty head…likely a buildup of microscopic crap inside the head/nozzles. Me…I’d do a solvent flush on the bench but the Mimaki is easier to strip without having to realign anything.
But if it’s printing fine…leave it!
