    Hi Paul
You`ll find the weld tool under the shaping drop down.

    Cheers

Well I like Brush Script so sorry Jill, yes weld in Corel is an option in shaping but if you are using Cutting Master for a Graphtec it has an ‘Auto Weld’ feature that automatically welds objects of the same colour at cut time, very useful as the text remains editable.

It’s not that I hate Brush Script, I hate how people use it.
    (All caps, not welded, unkerned)
I have seen it applied on vehicles and signs with the cut lines right through it.
It’s on my list of DO NOT USE fonts, like Comic Sans, Balloon, Papyrus, Curlz, Mistral, etc. It’s been overused and abused since people started using computers to make signs. I’ve been painting script with a brush for 23 years and never saw it fall out of one looking like Brush Script.

I just use it for the logo for the Numberplate side of the business.

I agree Brush Script is like Old English never use all caps and never on an arc but in the right context Brush Script is as good an informal script as any. It was also one of those scripts I could never could get quite right when using a brush not as easy as it first looks, doesn’t matter now I’ve ‘retired’ from the brushes.

I had looked at that Jill and I couldnt decide whether to do it or not as the UK Numberplate font puts that gap in on the plates too.
