No, it’s either transfer papers or DTG for black/dark garments

Hi Louise.
There is no way you can print direct onto a black shirt even if it is made from polyester. There are various materials that suppliers have for printing onto first and then ironing this onto the shirt.
The only material I use is printable polyester flock. After printing you have to cut the print out with scissors or , if it is a complicated design, use your cutter to cut it out.
If you dont have a cutter with a cut and print system then cut the shape out first with the plotter before you print it.
I dont know about the other "transfer" papers, Iยดm sure others will tell you about them.

There is a product called Forever subli-dark that you reverse print with sublimation ink and then press on to your shirt and the ink comes through to the surface, bloody awful stuff if you press for a few seconds too long it starts to melt, and even if you are successful, the hand is so bad it feels like a lump of plastic stuck to the front of your shirt. Avoid at all costs.
Is sold by Home to gifts as sublimation vinyl. -
Hi.
That’s great guys. I had try-ed to print on a black 65% polyester t-shirt but nothing came out on it and i did not know if there was special paper i had to get to do it.
Will give that one a miss so.Thanks for all your help.
