With all these no smoking rules coming into place we have to put up a large amount of signs at an airport and the only VHB we find to stick to all the surfaces there is the 3M 4912, which comes in rolls.

We are having problems with our supplier to cut these into 25mm pads.

Has anybody on here got a supplier they use with a sticky pad as good as the 3M cut to 25mm square on a roll that they use?

    Thanks

isnt VHB a bit over the top for "all" no smoking signs?
what material do you make the signs from and what is a typical surface you are fitting them onto?

We have tested a lot of tapes over the years and the only consistent one has been this one, hence we use it because it virtually never fails.

It’s only foamex we are sticking but a lot of the surfaces here have a non stick coating for the ease of cleaning and that is why we use VHB.

roll out strips onto release paper and cut at 25mm,the more
strips you can layout in one go the lest cutting to be done.

Fred, for the interim that idea works a treat.

It’s amazing been in the game so long and never thought of that, ‘you learn something new every day’, as they say!
