  • Is there a simpler method to use powerclip for cut outline?

Hi, am new to print and cut. I have been playing with the print and cut on the versacamm and wanted some opinion on cut outlines. Most are easy in Corel, using outline or contour but today I had a jpeg and used the Powerclip which simply places what you require of an image straight into the container, then giving it a hairline ready to cut.
Is this an option anyone else uses? Is there a simpler method you can tell me about?

I have just sent a job to my colleagues for print and cut and I did as you describe ie picture in powerclip with hairline for them to colour as required their end. I’m assuming your rip requires a given colour for cutting part so add that to your pallet so you can right click for easy quick colouering.

Glad to see I am not the only one using this method, seems quick to do and perfect everytime

Powerclip is something I use all the time, surprisingly many people I speak to are not aware of how good it is and spend ages in Photoshop or similar.

Is it possible to powerclip a vector inside say a word and have it stay as a vector to be able to vinyl cut, every time I do it the powerclip disappears in wire frame ? Is this possible? Corelx3

That was a good tip, I just saved some time trying to do the print and cut ! I’m hoping that I can place a flag ( vector ) inside numbers ) . Is there an easy way, Using power clip is good for print and cut not cut /cut if you understand.
