Is it possible to get plugin open cdr files in illustrator?
Hello
Is it possible to get a plugin to open cdr files in illustrator CS2. Some file will sortof ope at random. So looking for a proper plugin to help.

I dont think you will find a plug in as such Micheal, the best way would be to export them from corel as ai files.

If you have both programmes goto http://www.oberonplace.com there you will find a free VBA/Macro or whatever for Draw X3 to enable cut and paste between the two.

I normally design in AI. then export as an ‘EPS’ and open in corel no prob. I haven’t tried it the other way round but it should work, i.e. export as an ‘EPS’ in corel then open in ai.
