Any suggestions as to insurance companies willing to cover self-adhesive graphics company.

For the last 10 years we have had no problems with getting insurance to cover the normal commercial aspects and home ” domestic” cover.
We work from home so cover has been inclusive under a homeworker type policy.

Norwich union have just told us they are not prepared to renew our policy because our turnover is over £100k. (Inspite of No claims or convictions etc)

We were using the same company for our insurance for over 7 years. As our renewel came up in March this year we coinsidently had a call from NFU Mutual, they gave a quote of just under half we were paying! Unbelievable! Our ins company could not get near it. Needless to say that we swapped companies.

NFU (Nationbal Farmesr Union) Mutual Wanted to move into other areas of businesses to insure and signmakers were a target.
For once I did not mind a cold call asking for “the person who deals with insurance please”

    Give them a call

we are also with NFU and again no other company could match what they offered. Nice company to work with and we have been with them for about 3 years now.

    Hi
further bit of info on above company, if you haven’t been insured previously they cannot deal with you direct, but they will give you a tel no. of a broker to go through (i know just tried for a quote)

Its worth checking out the insurance available through the Federation of Small business (FSB). I’ve found their policy unbeatable.
