    Hi,

Just Wonderd i have a 147" by 18" sign to put up on tuesday. the backfround is blue but i dont want white caps to show. What is the best way to install without these caps being visible?? could i get away with just using pink grip??? its to be installed on a shop front on a bare brick wall.

    thanks 🙂

If it’s possible to, put a white line/boarder round the edge, you can use the white caps on that, it’d depend on the layout and colour of your lettering though.

I tend to use brass, people are always ok to see brass as they assume it’s quality and expensive. It’s not for me though, I bought the entire screw stock of a closing down hardware shop, I’ll never need to buy another screw if I live to be a hundred 😉

Pink grip would be fine, I’m sure it would, but I’m not sure enough to chance it. There’s something that just make you feel safer if you’ve actually screwed it to the wall.

countersunk screws and cut vinyl circles from the same vinyl colour as the background

    Usually this for me.

Another way is to heat shrink the correct colour vinyl over the screw caps.
