Inspiration please for a ‘different’ motor home design?
Hi all,
This is a different one for me as used to run of the trade stuff, been asked to design some graphics for this sprinter which is going to be a motorhome. Thing is they want something a bit ‘different’ not your usual pinstripes or designs you usually get on motorhomes. Im struggling to get something different that doesn’t look cheap or tacky due to the sheer size of the thing, its a LWB sprinter and there’s a lot of space to fill, sides and back.
Does anyone have any ideas or inspiration on this? Would be grateful if anyone has as its a very basic brief with no real direction at the moment!
Its a basic vinyl only job but no limitations on colours.
It will be as the outline but with a window in the side door that cant have graphics over.

Whenever I have been asked to do a motorhome, I’ve always ended up with the same old swirly things. Not easy to design something original!
Anyways, having said that, I would try to do something that breaks up some of the multitude of horizontal lines on a Sprinter. Maybe like this….
….but good.

yes i keep coming back to the swirls and squiggles ! I’m conscious of the dreaded recesses but i don’t think i can avoid them.
it definitely needs something to get away from the panel van look…but what i don’t know!! hopefully some further inspiration will be forthcoming
i came across this whilst looking for inspiration and it does seem to give it more of a motor home look with a solid panel from the cab to the rear as in silver on this one? don’t know what other thoughts are on this? I’m guessing application would be a night mare and any cast will pull out as the recess is textured also?
