    I being using Epson 9000 Pro for a year now. Did not had anyproblems since until i received a phone call from a customer in Bethnal Green saying;

Customer: ‘Mate, you know the sign that you have done for me? Ref Number: 11845 ? The pictures are gone. Phheeww… Not there anymore’
Me : Yeahh!! So that means they liked your pictures and they taken it away!!. So you should find who is that bad minded competitor of yours?
Customer: You kidding with me? The pictures are there but they are completely gone yellow.

So the customer informed me that his pictures are dissolved. I am using Epson 9000 Printer (inkjet), and i am not fluent with printers. What do you think i should do??

    Please help..

    Very urgent matter. (hot)

Sounds like you might be running dye inks rather than pigment?

bill i think you are right the 9000 ran dye from new the 9500 was pigmented

    the magenta does go first.

both types should be laminated if outdoors.
i have pigmented stuff still outside after 4 years just starting to dip now.

i dont know why but epson say you can not put epson pigmented or ultra crome inks in the 9000.

my 9500 has lyson pigmented in at the moment as the epson carts price went through the roof.

i cant see why you could not use them but they say not

    not a problem glenn.
when i ordered my 9500 the supplier whent to great lengths to make sure that i wanted the pigmented ink machine because of the problem of changing ink types.

i dont think that the machines are different just that the two ink types dont like one another, and will not flush properly.

it may be worth a call to lyson to see what they say

i know they have come down again but i throw my toys out when they went to £88 each.for the 9500 i am not totally convinced by the lyson ones. i think the last set of 6 was £250.

at the sign show i came across a firm selling for £25 a cart but i am very skeptical when it comes to ink claims.
