    Hi ,
I wonder if anyone can help. I have recently added a pdf file into versaworks. The file has crop marks and bleed put in by the client. The size at the crop marks is 975mm by 1134mm.
However, when I print out the actual posters the width is correct at 975mm but the length is less at 1125mm. I’m losing 9mm somewhere. I have measured the crop lines from the client in Corel Draw and it is at 1134mm.
    Can anyone help. Many thanks
    🙂

Increase your freed calibration by .8% or .1% if thats the closet.

lol not really. I don’t have a computer at home so have a laptop on my bed to catch up on uksb, news and my email.

Did the feed calibration fix your length?

Hi Jason . No it’s still the same. The versacamm prints the width correctly but it is still printing short on length. Have an engineer coming to service it tonight. Hopefully he can tell me what I’m doing wrong. Thanks again for your help

Under the profile settings are you telling the RIP to use the printers feed calibration settings or the one set in the profile?

sounds like Jason is correct on the cause but the rip may be canceling the machine setting or the other way round.
best set the machine to ignore commands from the rip and put in the feed alteration in the machine.
that way you know whats going on.
