This happens alot to me when I’m cutting something on the graphtec ce3000-60.

The cutting master preview window looks like the paths are ok inside the weeding lines but when I go to cut there isn’t enough vinyl to get the weeding lines and sometimes the tops of the letters included.

Usually I just compensate and leave plenty room to make sure but this time I am trying to cut a circle for a 4×4 wheel cover that i need to flood coat and its bigger than the width of my plotter.

I’m trying to use the tiling but when I cut the first 1/2 cuts there isn’t enough vinyl and the segment is uncompleted (I hope this makes sense).

should I be using overlap? or adjusting the valid area perhaps?

    My software is illustrator.

Not sure, but it sounds like your software thinks your roll is bigger than it is. In signlab you can change this in the preview window, don’t know about other software. Generally better to have it set a wee bit smaller to allow for pinch rollers
