I am looking to go digital printing …I’ve been busy doing homework… Now i’m all confused… can anyone help…
    I don’t run any spandex applications…

Is the dpi on thermal printing good enough for close up digital photo’s

Would I be better getting an wide format inkjet them laminating

can you get a print & cut inkjet (in a reasonable budget)

Does 300dpi relate to approx 2mm square solid colour print???

What has thrown me is a chat I had with a guy from roland
the pc600 has a operating cost of approx £50 square metre???? 😮

the new Signart Nautilus print & cut has a dpi of 300 is this good enough…
    I know the price is…

Am I expecting too much for too little or is this how it is…

any input to help me into digital would be welcomed…
    thanks in advance.. 😉

    £50/square meter, no danger.

That’s if you are using the extortionately expensive roland cartridges.. Using thermal products’ cartridge re-fills I think Phil worked it out to be about £20ish pounds.. But remember this can be printed at 1200dpi… and the print quality is superb and far superior to a gerber edge.

No complaints with the PC600 apart from the fact that you have to keep it really clean and not let too much dust get on your vinyl or it ruins your print.
