Importing goods from the EU – Brexit query
Hi, we occasionally buy goods from manufacturers in the EU, however, trying to navigate what we need to do because of BREXIT is a minefield and ‘the computer says no’ is a common sight! :bangshead: Just wondering if anyone else has successfully applied for an EORI? or know if we need to? It’s all as clear as mud on the websites, webinars, adverts and over the phone.
We are talking a couple of units a month we order, so not a lot, but we cannot find a uk manufacturer of the items we buy they are all suppliers buying from the EU.

We got our EORI number automatically, it’s similar to the VAT number, bar a few numbers.
I got a call about registering for simplified something or other.

Thanks David. We managed to get an EORI number :smiles: but it’s as clear as mud what needs to be done next and what we do with the number! :bangshead:
