    hi folks,

    Im looking for advice on a cheeper alternative to 3m diamond grade.
    I mean is there anything on the market that looks similer to it in reflectiveness, but at half the cost

    Regards Brian..Ps its for motorway vehicles

    and a hello to you nic….The last time i done vehicles of this nature i got away with “3m looky likey ” but id rather get something a bit more like the real thing if you know what i mean .

    Aint no such thing as a cheap version of diamond grade. There are a fair few alternatives that you could check out the prices on though. A few that spring to mind are: Reflexite VC312 range, Avery EV range, and a Nikkalite range. I think the reflexite stuff is even dearer than DG.

    Thanks folks. Another quick question ,is diamond grade easy enough to cut with a stanley knife as i understand an ordinary plotter is not sutible.

    Actually, it’s not too bad to cut with a stanley or a scalpel. The trick is to cut it from the back and then snap out any parts that aren’t cut all the way through. You will never cut it with a ‘regular’ plotter.
