    😕 Hi All 😕
Having problem with the CX24 since I changed the blade? (!)
I purchased a blade from a very reputable 🙄 company 🙄 which once fitted did not seem to cut right. (EDGES NOT SMOOTH AND LETTERING NOT CUT CLEAN SNAGS IN PLACES).
Blade looked different from original, I rang them and they sent me an original blade :lol1: (had to pay for both still), 😕 But problem still there. 😥
Both these blades look different from the one in the machine.
    Any Suggestions?

Had a similar problem to this a while ago, the vinyl had a jagged almost perforated cut line as if the blade was skiping along the surface, does that make sense. After trying several blades I discovered that the bearing in the blade carrier was worn. If you screw off the depth adjuster on the end you will see the small bearing, insert a blade and wobble to see if there is any play. Luckily I had a PC50 that gets no use and tried the blade carrier from that and the problem was solved.

Could be your off-set, if your old blade was worn you might need to adjust the off set of the new blade.

I think the smart blades that harry sells are brilliant, never had any problems at all with them

😛 Thanks for the help 😛
Checked the blade roller all OK also no change when adjusting the off-set,
Ordered a couple of cutting strips (blade protector strip).
Roland think it could be that.

    Thanks again for your help.

When you change the neoprene strip make sure you get ALL the sdhesive out of the channel or you will have worse problems. From experience 😳
