Illustrator spot colour help ???
I am having a problem with a customers artwork in illustrator, I have the cut line ready and save it as an EPS.
It then comes up with
(When spot colours are used with transparency, changing them to process colours outside of illustrator can generate unexpected results).
And I click continue and import it into versworks and no cut line shows.

Hi shaun,
i get this quite a lot! I have found sometimes putting cut contour on a different layer and the top layer works! Sometimes it doesnot and i have had to flatten transparency and rasterize artwork, then add the cut contour and it works! If you find a permanent fix i would love to know! I am using CS3 by the way, and it only happens rarely! goodluckDan

What Dan said Shaun but have you also tried printing as a pdf?
This sometimes sorts it out.

Thanks Dan, I had to export to photoshop and flatten + rasterize, save as PDF and export back to Illustrator.
