    Hi there
i was thinking of buying a graphtec 54” cutter.

I noticed that there’s one called FC7000-130 (54”) and one called
FC8000-130 (54”). What is the difference between the two? Is the 8000 just a later model, and if so what are the improvements over the older model if any?

I posted this in general cutters because i’m open to any suggestions on other brands of cutter which are similar.

Also does anybody have a good supplier to recommend to me for these if they have purchased one in the past.

I would appreciate any advice you could offer,

    Thanks

    FC8000 is the newer model.

It has two cutting strips. Two tool positions.

Has dual user modes amongst other things.

Thanks for that, as far as i can see, they are no longer making the 7000’s but some suppliers still have a couple knocking about and they are a bit cheaper. That’s what i was told anyway.

Think i’m going to go for the ce5000 series now anyways.
