Always good to introduce yourself first. Background experience etc.

    Hi Josh,

Welcome to the boards. Great to hear of someone getting involved in the industry.
Have you looked at any particular equipment yet?

Have to agree with Jason on this one, an intro post in the "say hello" forum and loading a profile picture will always help gain more replies than those without.

    anyway…
    all depends on your budget,
personally, ide recommend either Graphtec, Roland or Summa when it comes to a vinyl cutter. all three great brands…
Personally, I have always used Roland & Graphtec vinyl cutters. some other models in earlier days but no longer available….

if you want digital printing, ide say go for a Roland print and cut machine. even the smallest verscamm if you can push your budget. it will give you best of both worlds, print and cut… will help you with regards to what your aiming at, i.e. vehicles, signage etc. better still if you can also afford a laminator or desktop vinyl mounter.

if the versacamm is out your price range then perhaps the Roland BN20, jam packed with product options for any small business but a very slow print output.
i have had roland printers for the past 12+ years. they just keep banging out prints. real work horses if you look after them.

    best of luck!
