I’m back…..
Hi friends,
Long time no talk.
Apologies for going AWOL for the last year, it was nothing personal.
Lots of contracts last year and got a bit sidetracked on Facebook marketing but I always think of you lot….. honest!
Both my kids work with me now full time so life is a lot easier in some ways. My son has taken to the business like a pro, even taking two of my clients off me…..
My daughter started with me last month after finishing school. She has computer skills in graphic design that I really wish I had. What takes me an hour to reproduce a clients artwork, she does in half the time.
She is already making a name for herself among my clients. Very proud of both the be honest.
My son and I work all over the country now, and I employ subbies for the big jobs to help us onsite. My daughter runs the office now while we are away. If she gets stumped she video phones me and we work thru it together. How did we ever manage with technology in the good old days?
New this year is that a core group of aussie wrappers have started the Australian Professional Vinyl Wrappers Association (apvwa.com.au) a not for profit. The aim this year is to fine tune that and see how it pans out. Only launched a few weeks ago, our inaugural open day is Saturday, but we have had a great response. I guess that will take a bit of my time now.
Sleep is so overated I reckon.
For those that don’t know me, I’m the annoying opinionated old chubby guy from Queensland, Australia.
Oh yeah, The english had a great cricket tour recently eh. 🙂

I may end up seeing you on your own turf some day soon… (if i get a minute) :lol1: things in pipeline regarding UKSG, but not posting public for now. so shhhh! 😉great to hear the kids getting involved too, thats brilliant.

All sounds hectic down there and great to hear as Rob says the kids are coming on leaps and bounds. I’d give it another couple of years and possibly start paying them a wage…..stick with the luncheon vouchers for now though.. 😀
Over here I think a lot of us are flat out, the tide seems to be turning.
