    Hi
I have HP9000s machines and have trialed the Reprographic Technology Inks on my machines and am having head drop outs all over the place, anyone else experienced similar issues?
So far it has cost me 2 printheads

I don’t work on the HP9000’s enough to be able to comment really but try speaking to Julian at JDM Services or Tom Gent at Perfect Colours. They both know the 9000 quite well as far as I know….

I had an HP9000 a few years back and actually tested a new ink for HP very unsuccessfully.

They eventually re-instated the original ink as it was causing exactly the same problems you have stated the worst hit was the magenta and the cyan.

I got rid of the printer because of the problems with the new ink if you use the original HP ink all should be OK, it was a great printer with the right ink. (likes to be printing all day every day for the best results).
