or do you mean you need to remove the actual machine casing structure?

Maybe not. But I don’t know anything about these machines.. The main body needs to be detached from the stand, and carried up the staircase. On the top of the staircase there is a small landing and a door right beside it. The printer can only fit by turning on the side, kind of upright if that makes sense.

I’m not sure if this is possible without damaging the machine.

Removal of the printer itself from the stand is simple, consisting of the removal of four torx screws.

Assuming that the printer has not been inked up, it is not an issue to tilt the machine into a near-vertical orientation before bringing it back to horizontal.

If the printer has been inked up, this practice (putting the printer in a near vertical orientation) would not be advisable, as there is ink in the maintenance cartridge that could be spilled inside of the printer. It is also possible for the ink to spill at the cartridges when tilting the printer into vertical orientation.

Could the maintenance cart and ink carts not be removed and then reseated once the machine is moved?

Best practices would dictate not tilting the machine into a vertical orientation. If the machine needs to be tilted, it would be advisable to remove ink from the Ink delivery system first. The least recommended option would be to simply remove the maintenance cart and ink carts before tilting the printer, and then reinstall after the printer is in a horizontal orientation.

I don’t have any other option but tilting the machine in vertical position. But of course I don’t want to end up having issues with the machine. All I wanted to know if this would be possible or not. If possible then who can do it without damaging it.
