I have the 3000cp. The print resolution is quite low on it though. For text print it is ok, but if you’re doing pictures then it can look quite dated.

I have a 3000CP, max print resolution is only 600dpi. The texture of the canvas can hide the low res output quite well, especially with a thick liquid lamination. But I wouldn’t recommend it for printing on photo paper. External signs can be printed on coated vinyl and laminated and hold up OK for 2 to 3 years in the sun (using pigment inks). The 5000 will obviously give you better output quality, but you’d expect a better resolution for the higher cost.

Pity you aren’t in my neck of the woods as I’m off loading my 3000 – it doesn’t get much use since the JV3 moved in 😀
