How would you have done this?
Hi folks,
I would like to seek the advice and opinions of how you would have done this vinyl on acylic sign.
The sign main board is a approx 8ft x 2ft opaque acylic with black vinyl and full cut out text and graphic.
For us, this is how we have done it,
1. apply the black vinyl over the acylic board, then trim off the excess from the edges
2. plotter cut out of the text and graphic using a low-tack vinyl, stick it on in position onto the now black acylic board.
3. trace the outline of text and graphic manually with sharp penknife, then remove the low-tack vinyl and cut-out black part on the board.
4. Viola! Completed.
However, i find that this process is really just time consuming and tiring. Is there a better way that you guys would have done it?
By the way, how do I post picture of the sign in this forum?
thanks and have a great day!
