I took the bike out for a run last Sunday, to say is was a bit wet would be an understatemnet. 😕 It took me 3 days to finaly get the bike clean again. The graphics took a bit of a pounding though and are in a pretty bad state, so I’m making a new set for it today. The guys behind me came off a lot worse, at least I could see where I was going.

Ouch!!! 😮 Thats looks nasty. I’m the one doing the driving nowadays, I have done my time as passenger and have had the broken bones that go with it. I have aslo had a go at (solo) speedway, but taking down the track fences at Reading and Eastbourne convinced me to give that up. Moto X guys get my top praise, 20 odd laps of jumps and bumps need top fitness and stamina. I can only just stand up after 4 laps of a smooth (ish) grasstrack! I live near Daren Dixon, the ex world sidecar champ. He had a sit in my outfit and reckons he wouldn’t ride it if he was paid to. I had a near miss a few years ago when he was after a stand in passenger for a day, I didn’t have the correct licence for road racing, so I got away with that. 😀

S**t its Steve Austin 😆 a few years ago I did an outfit for some nutters from Skeggy and they offered me a free day out at Mallory, the Festival of Sidecars, theirs is/was an Exup based Formula2(?) “bring your leathers” said Paul 😮 and I can say that without a doubt Adreniline is Brown!!!!

I would like to say this is me, but it isn’t. The only time my front wheel normally comes up is if I have a fat pillion!

    Hi all,

I race a KX250 at club level (motocross) and it completely knackers me! and we only do 14 minute races! Dont know how those guys at world motocross level do it.

Oh and as for injurys ruptured abdomen and dislocated shoulder all in one go last season.

    Best rgds

I think injuries and bikes go in common. Fortunately I haven’t got injured since I was 17 (broken pelvis in 2 places, dislocated hip, damaged nerves in left thigh(causing no movement in left foot for 2 years) broken kneecap, broken ankle and 2 broken fingers. Fortunately as you grow up you realise speeding through villages is asking for trouble. Especially when a car in front of the one you are overtaking turns right!

Try and keep my real speeding to the track now, I am at a Snetterton on August 2nd for a trackday on my Triumph TT600. Did one last year at Cadwell in the pouring rain all day and left knowing it was the most adrenalised fun thing I have ever done. It even beats the 2 bungee jumps I did a few years ago.

I have been dying to do a track day all summer (maybe I shouldn’t say dying! 😕 ), but I wanted to wait unitl I go to see Moto GP next week in case I drop it. Heres a pic of how the bike looks before the trackday anyway!

I changed the decals when I put the race can on last year. The originals are white with a charcoal shadow, so I changed to Spandex’s colour change vinyl with a black reflective shadow.
